Athieq starting $1 meals

Athieq Restaurant in Bangunan Salmah at Mile Four of Telanai on Jalan Tutong is offering Chicken Rice, Kolo Mee and Mee Sup at $1 per serving, commencing today. Its manager stressed that this is not a promotion gimmick, but only aims to help underprivileged people, mainly foreign menial workers, who could not afford food at the normal price in such establishments. As these dishes are carefully served in portions, they are not expecting to make a great loss from such a move.
