Maintaining order on Brunei roads
By Hj Minor Absah

Despite the ongoing Chinese New Year festival, the Road Traffic Enforcement and Investigations Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force continues to maintain its responsibility in stopping crime and illegal goods trafficking in this country. Measures include roadblocks aimed at looking for modified cars, drivers with expired road taxes and driving licenses, and at running surveillance on the movement of foreign workers. Roadblocks had been conducted at several areas throughout the Sultanate and one of them was at the Muara-Tutong Highway (pictured).
