The swanky Sky Lounge

Plush sofa seats for the weary traveller
RBA
announced that they have opened their new up-to-date and sophisticated
passenger lounge at the Brunei International Airport today.
With the soft opening of its new
First and Business Class passenger lounge, passengers can now benefit
from the plush sofa seats and massage chairs to soothe weary muscles
before embarking on a long flight.
Aptly named Sky Lounge, it is located
at the departure hall and occupies the entire mezzanine floor. The
floor-to-ceiling glass exterior offers a panoramic view of the
activities within the departure hall. Spreading over an area of 5,820
square feet, the new lounge is not only spacious but brings with it
more facilities than before, a press release issued by RBA stated.
The Sky Lounge has a seating capacity
of approximately 120 people and is furnished with plush sofa seats and
massage chairs, which are available for complimentary use. All this is
set amidst the calming effect of the water fountain that adorns the
lounge entrance and exit doors.
For those whose lives revolve around
the borderless world, a workstation complete with personal computers
and free Internet access is available for the busy travelling
executive. Wireless Internet connection for passengers with their own
wireless technology laptops is also available from anywhere within the
lounge while a large plasma screen television provides entertainment.
Other facilities include shower rooms
and a prayer room with ablution areas for Muslim passengers. An array
of complimentary food and beverage completes the whole experience.
The Sky Lounge is exclusively
reserved for Royal Brunei's First and Business Class passengers, and
Royal Skies Gold and Silver members.
