The Belait District Office yesterday held a blessing ceremony for the arrival of two official vehicles for the Office this year.

Officiating at the ceremony was Assistant Belait District Officer Awg Hj Ali bin Matyassin.

The blessing ceremony included the recital of Al-Fatihah which was then followed with the sprinkling of "tepung tawar".

The vehicles, a Toyota Prado and a Hino garbage truck which together cost about B$150,000 would serve the purpose of facilitating official visits made by the Belait District Officer and of carrying out cleaning services.
