Brunei Oil Industry Wants You, Says Shell

Bandar Seri Begawan – It is the ultimate objective to attract and recruit more locals with the right qualifications and qualities for a career at the Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP), Brunei LNG and Brunei Shell Tankers.

This was mentioned in a briefing on job opportunities at the three companies today attended by counselling and career guidance teachers nationwide.

The aim of the briefing was to provide a clear understanding and information on job opportunities and scholarship at the three companies.

Some 67 teachers from the counselling and carrier unit from throughout the country attended the one-day briefing.

The second such briefing was also intended at recruiting a number of potential students who have passed the 'A' level examination.

In the talks, the Brunei Shell Petroleum, Brunei LNG and Brunei Shell Tanker outlined the academic qualification requirement for students who would like to join the scholarship schemes.

One of the technical fields that Brunei Shell Petroleum is seeking is the skill in Petroleum Engineering.

Since 1993, Brunei Shell Petroleum awarded a total of scholarships to local students.
