Mystery Body In Kampong Kupang Was A Woman Experts Say

Bandar Seri Begawan – The skeleton remains found in the bushes at Kampong Kupang in the Tutong District have been identified as that of a 25-year-old female.

The marital status of the woman was confirmed by a forensic expert at the Ministry of Health at the scene of the discovery yesterday.

Two teenagers looking for mushrooms in the nearby jungle found her remains.

The boys found the decomposed body near a home in the village in Kupang.

Musli bin Jumat, 20, and his cousin, Alinor bin Mohammad, 19, told Radio Television Brunei how they stumbled on the remains of the human body.

They said after they found the body, they alerted their father and then the ketua kampong.

They then reported it to the police in the kampong.

Sengkurong Police and the Tutong Police imposed tight security last night till investigation was completed.
