Officers conducting the inspection at the Kuala Lurah Control Post

A team of 14 personnel from the Ministry of Religious Affairs including two female officers and 6 personnel from the CID of the Limau Manis Police Station held an inspection at the Kuala Lurah Control Post. The inspection, which was headed by the Officer in Charge of Limau Manis Police Station, ASP Pg Hj Damit Pg Omar, began at 8 pm and ended at 10 pm. The objective of the inspection was to ensure that no undeclared items were brought into the country.

Three people were detained in the operation called "Operasi Ugan". Two were detained for breaching the Islamic law and the other was a Malaysian who had not entered through the control post.

The operation was held to prevent any negative activities from rising as well as to eliminate any immoral actions, which is continuing to grow especially with the Chinese New Year just around the corner.
