Lucky Baiduri Customer Wins B$100,000

"BUY a house!"

This was how Chua Khong Siong, a 44-year-old businessman, responded when asked what he would do with B$100,000.

Mr Chua was the winner of Baiduri Bank Savings Account Promotion 2003 held from July 1, 2003 to December 31st last year.

It offered attractive prizes amounting to B$200,000, including five monthly, ranging from 51,000 to $10,000 and a grand prize of $100,000.

In addition, all customers will benefit from high interest earnings of up to 3.75 per cent on their savings account, making it more rewarding to be with Baiduri Bank Group.

A presentation ceremony was held yesterday at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

The draw itself was made on January 9, 2004 at the Baiduri Banks Training Centre in Kiarong.

More than 25 customers attended this event and some were invited to take out the winning coupon numbers in the presence of bank staff and lawyers.

In his welcoming speech, Mr Pierre Imhof the General Manager of Baiduri Bank said that this was the 9th Savings Account Promotion held since 1999 and more than 1,650 have been made winners over the period of time.

He also took the opportunity to thank all customers for their great support.

Mr Chua told the Bulletin that he has been with the bank for three years now and so far, fully satisfied.

The other recipients for December were Kishor Janardhanan Pillai (who won first prize of $10,000), Yong Ing Tak ($2,500), Lim Tiong Woon ($2,000), Yong Yung Khiong ($1,500) and Khong Hoe Fong ($1,000). -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
