Fake B$50 Note Found In Tutong

Tutong Town - Tutong police confirmed the discovery of a fake $50 note at a petrol station in Tutong on Thursday night.

The filling station had submitted the fake note to the police after a customer alleging that it was given to him as change had brought it to the manager's attention.

The customer had said not knowing the nature of the note, he had proceeded to purchase goods at a shop.

He had then alleged that the note had been returned to him at that shop, as it had not shown the security line when checked for a counterfeit.
