Royal Brunei Police Marks 83rd
Anniversary

Begawan – The Royal Brunei Police Force has launched various
activities to commemorate its 83rd anniversary in the country.
One of the activities was the
recitation of the Yassin Verses, Tahiti and Doa prayers in remembrance
of police members who had passed away while serving with the force.
The gathering was held to offer
prayers for the late Januddin Bin Haji Mumin.
The recitation of the Yassin verses,
tahlil and doa arwah was led by Awang Hj Abdullah Bin Karim, Imam of
the police headquarters’ surau,.
More than 200 police personnel
attended the function
The late Januddin was a member of the
Investigation and Traffic Department of the Police Force. He was
killed in a road accident in 1998 while he was on duty.
Among those present at the gathering
were Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman, Commissioner of Police, and
Januddin's family members.
The ceremony was an annual activity
of the Islamic Religious Body of the Royal Brunei Police Force. It
took place at the Ingan-Ingan Cemetry at Kampung Parit in Mukim
