ACWW visits Info Department

Members of the Associated Country
Women of the World (ACWW) who are attending the 7th ACWW Area
Conference for South East Asia and the Far East yesterday morning
visited the Information Department of the Prime Minister's Office.
The 58-member delegation was greeted
upon arrival by the Director of Information, Awang Haji Bujang bin
Haji Masu'ut and some of its officers.
The Director of Information briefed
the visitors on the roles and functions of the Information Department.
After the briefing, the group who was
led by Mrs Hilda Stewart, the President of ACWW, toured the
Information Department's Golden Jubilee exhibition. They also attended
a dinner hosted by the Director of Information last night in Berakas.
The visit was part of the programme
organised by the organiser of the ACWW Conference for delegation
members while they are in the country. On Wednesday morning, they
visited the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) in Seria.
The ACWW Conference which commenced
on January 11 will draw to a close today.
