Ceremony to glorify mosques with Quran reading

A ceremony to glorify mosques with Quran reading or 'Halaqah Tilawatil Quran' was held on Wednesday night at the Setia Ali mosque in Muara.

It aims to glorify mosques throughout the country with Quran reading by male and female readers as well as to upgrade the standard of Quran reading among the readers and to develop a love towards the Quran.

Present as the chief guest was the Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Dato Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Hj Awg Mohd Zain.

The ceremony is conducted on a rotational basis. The event was carried-out by the Academic Centre and the Quran Spreading Islamic Eminence Development and Communication Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs with the cooperation of the organising committee of the Setia Ali mosque in Muara town.
