25 workers inspected in Sengkurong carry documents

Another inspection operation called "Ugan 8" was conducted by 12 CID officers from the Sengkurong and Limau Manis Police station, at Selayun, Sengkurong yesterday.

The inspection took place at the Kampong Selayun, Mukim Sengkurong.

The police had inspected 25 foreign workers and all showed valid identification documents. Three officers from the Labour Department and seven officers from the Immigration Department were led by the OCS Officer of Limau Manis Police Station.

The previous night, four officers from the Sengkurong Police Station pulled over a car, ridden by people suspected of gambling with four-digit numbers through mobile phones messaging.

Both were taken to the Sengkurong Police station for further interrogation.
