Over 3,000 To Take Part In
Technology Training

Begawan - More than 3,000 people have applied to join in the
second phase of the industrial and info-communication technology
training program.
First introduced in 2002, the
training scheme was implemented in December 2003 when it received an
extremely encouraging response.
The scheme is aimed at providing
applicants with the necessary skills to join the workforce.
The Economic Planning and Development
Department said that a briefing for the second phase of the industrial
and info-communication technology training scheme, which was scheduled
for today, has been moved to January 20, 2004.
The briefing will be held at the
International Convention Centre in Berakas.
Applicants are required to be present
no later than 8 a.m.
Their attendance will be a priority
