HRH Prince Mohamed Grants Audience To Envoys

Bandar Seri Begawan – His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, yesterday granted audiences to the Outgoing High Commissioner of Australia and the newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan yesterday.

His Royal Highness first received the Outgoing High Commissioner of Australia, Mr Allaster Edward Cox.

During the meeting His Royal Highness expressed appreciation to Mr Cox for his work over the last three years and wished him success in his future undertakings.

Mr Cox has been High Commissioner of Australia accredited to Brunei since January 2001.

His Royal Highness then received Mr Ha Hong Hai, the newly-appointed representative of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the audience, His Royal Highness welcomed the new ambassador and discussed bilateral matters.

Mr Ha Hong Hai was previously the deputy director of the international studies review at the Vietnamese Institute of International Relations. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
