Asia Inc Forum Welcomes Corporate Partners

Bandar Seri Begawan - Asia Inc Forum hosted a luncheon yesterday to welcome Brunei LNG, TOTAL, HSBC, DST Group and Bearing Point as Corporate Partners for its 2004 Brunei Programme.

Representing these leading companies were Dato Hamdillah Hj Abd Wahab, Mr Pierre Desvoyes, Mr Marcus Hurry, Pg Hj Mohd Zin Pg Damit and Mr Andrew Hamilton.

Asia Inc Forum and its Corporate Partners have committed to work together towards a competitive Brunei economy through government-private sector dialogue and partnership.

The first initiative under the 2004 Brunei Programme is a high-level Roundtable on Brunei’s Economic Outlook for 2004 on January 28 at The Empire Hotel.

The Roundtable will comprise around 60 specially invited participants from the government and the private sector of Brunei Darussalam. There will be presentations by two very distinguished guests from abroad: Dato Nazir Tun Razak – one of the region’s leading investment bankers and Dr Clint Laurent, who is an expert on Asian demographics.

The programme will also include a wide-ranging discussion on key aspects of the Brunei economy including E-Government, the outlook for the oil and gas industry, prospects for downstream industries, foreign direct investment and Brunei property trends.

Asia Inc Forum is a Brunei company that aims to be Asia’s leading facilitator of business and public policy dialogue. It was recently appointed international advisor to the APEC CEO Summit 2004 in Chile in November this year.
