Seminar promoting health for food
importers

Dyg Nurasma delivering a talk on Health nutrition.
A seminar was held yesterday at
Brunei Health Screening Centre in Berakas for food importers of
restaurants.
It was organised by the Ministry of
Health as one of the activities promoting healthy lifestyle and
dietary habit, particularly to locals.
More than 60 personnel from different
organisations and establishments in the country participated.

Nurasma Aini Hj Mat Yassin, an officer from the Food Section of the
Health Service Department, briefed the gathering.

Nurasma delivered a talk on health nutrition, in which she elaborated
on the content and concepts of food, such as "what food we choose to
eat and how much of it we eat are personal decisions."
This is among the many decisions we
have to make.
Other important issues discussed were
reducing fat and the proper use of sugar in consuming food.
At this session's end, the floor was
open for questions and suggestions.
The main objective and purpose of the
seminar was to make Bruneians understand health issues in the food
industry and work together in selling the general public better
products.
