Four locals from Kuala Belait fined for drug related activities

The Belait Magistrate's Court today sentenced four locals for their involvement in drug related activities.

Ak Adi Kamarul bin Pg Bungsu and Hanafiah Hj Safar, both aged 25, were each fined $1,000 or two months jail in default for consuming the controlled drug, methylamphetamine, RTB reported.

The same Magistrate's Court also fined Hashim bin Hj Mohd Deli $1,500 or two months imprisonment in default.

He was arrested on 30th July last year by the Narcotics Control Bureau officers in Kuala Belait.

Haris Hj Daud, 39, was sentenced to four years imprisonment for the consumption of the controlled drug methylamphetamine.

He was arrested in March last year.
