Water Shortage Hits Residents In Pekan Seria

Seria – Residents in nearly all over Pekan Seria experienced water shortage yesterday as the Public Work Department carried out maintenance work on its main pipelines in the area.

The inconvenience, which began at 12 noon, enabled the maintenance work to be made on the main pipeline including the installation of a new pipeline.

It has caused in Pekan Seria without water supply.

The new pipeline, home-made Medium Density Polyethane (MDPE), replaced the old pipes.

The replacement project began early last year. Nearly 90 per cent has been finished now.

The water supply resumed as soon as the maintenance work was completed later in the afternoon. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
