Water Cut In Capital Affects Many Areas

Bandar Seri Begawan – Water supply to several areas in the Brunei-Muara District was disrupted yesterday morning.

The affected areas were the Berakas Camp, the Lambak Kiri Resettlement Scheme, Jalan Pasir Berakas, Kampong Terunjing and Jalan Berakas.

The interruption was due to a broken main pipeline, which channels the water to the Berakas camp water tank.

Meanwhile Pekan Seria in the Belait District will not receive water supply or will experience low water pressure today.

The interruption will begin at 12 noon to allow for the installation of a new pipeline in the area.
