3 Malaysians Suspected Of 4-Digit Scam

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three foreign workers from Malaysia who were suspected of running a gambling scam involving 4-digits were apprehended when their home in Kg Kilanas was raided last night.

Police enforcement officers also confiscated a number of items, which were linked to the alleged gambling scam.

The items which were confiscated included cash amounting to $4,000, mobile phones, calculators, a valid bank book and valid passports.

All three suspects were taken to the Linmau Manis Police Station for further investigation. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
