Check On Jerudong Beach

Bandar Seri Begawan - A routine inspection codenamed "Operasi Kembura (01/04)" was held yesterday morning at Jerudong Beach.

A team of 28 officers comprising personnel from the Royal Brunei Police Force, Internal Security, Labour Department and Immigration Department were led by the Fisheries Department The inspection took place at 6 am and ended around 9 am.

The aim of the inspection was to check on the fisherman to ensure that no rules and regulations were being broken.

Officers inspected boat licences and valid identification documents of foreign workers amongst other things.
