2nd Batch Of Pilgrims Leave For Haj

Bandar Seri Begawan - The second batch of Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd pilgrims left for the Holy City of Mecca yesterday at 12.20 pm, boarding flight no B14179 of Royal Brunei Airlines. They are expected to arrive in Jeddah at 6.16 pm (local time).

The entourage comprised more than 200 pilgrims including four escorting officers and three medical officers. Meanwhile, the first batch of Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd pilgrims left the country two days ago.

Also joining the entourage was the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Dato Ustaz Awang Haji Yahya Haji Ibrahim.

According to the flight schedule the third and fourth batch will leave for Mecca today at 2.20 pm and tomorrow at 4.25 pm respectively. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
