Penghulus Urged To Give Job Top Priority Over Personal Ends

Bandar Seri Begawan – All penghulus and kampong ketuas are urged give priority to their job responsibility over personal interest.

Dato Haji Mohd Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, issued this reminder at the presentation of the letter of appointment to the new ketua of Kampong Rimba yesterday.

He said that penghulus and kampong ketuas should be easily contacted and must interact with their respective villagers and show concern for their welfare and needs of the kampong's surrounding.

Dato Haji Mohd Yusof also hoped that with the continuous support and cooperation from the villagers, the kampong ketuas would be able to form a systematic and concrete system of management and administration at their respective kampongs.

Awang Puspa Wira Bin Ham Mohd Nook, 35, a former employee of the Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA), was chosen as the new kampong ketua for Kampong Rimba.
