Education Ministry Closes Two Al-Falaah
Schools

Begawan – The Ministry of Education has closed two Al-Falaah
schools in the country.
The authority said the move was taken
due to safety reasons.
According to the Ministry of
Education, the infrastructure of one of the Al-Falaah schools have
been declared unsafe for occupation.
The two Al-Falaah schools are located
at Jalan Jawatan Dalam and Jiran Services Department at Jalan Ong Sum
Ping in Kampong Mabohai.
The closure takes effect on January
1, 2004.
Following the move, students have
been relocated to Taman Manggis Manis in Kampong Manggis, Jalan Muara.
However, the Al-Falaah school in
Kampong Paya Mulaut in Kilanas is still operational as normal.
Around 200 students from Primary One
till Primary Six are affected by the transfer.
In this regard, parents are advised
to arrange the transfer and relocating of their children with the
