More Dusuns in Tutong embrace

New Muslim converts attending the course on Islam which commenced on
January 5th and ends on January 19th.
Just over a week into the new year,
the Tutong Dakwah Islamiah Centre has welcomed more Muslim converts
comprising four Dusun families.
The number of Muslim converts is
rising steadily in Brunei Darussalam.
The Tutong Dakwah Islamiah Centre
yesterday disclosed that last year, 125 people of different races such
as Thai, Filipino, Chinese and Dusun converted to Islam. The Dusuns
recorded the highest number of Muslim converts in Tutong district.
Commencing on January 5th, 2004, 12
new Muslim converts are attending a two-week course organised by the
Tutong Dakwah Islamiah Centre.
The course aims to enhance their
understanding of Islam and to teach them the Islamic way of life.
The course is part of the Tutong
Dakwah Islamiah Centre's efforts to guide new converts on the
teachings of Islam.
