Talk on Cisarua Village BCL Charity Project

Social anthropologist Mies Grijns will give a talk on Cisarua Village BCL Charity Project at 9.30 am on January 14 in Orchid Garden Hotel, according to a press release from the British Community Link.

An interesting background picture of the villagers' life in West Java, Indonesia will be given as well as their plans and ideas for improvements and getting people on their feet again.

The BCL will be helping to raise funds for this project on January 29 with a Cheese Plus Evening. Its focus is on support for school and healthcare.

For the most part, it will directly benefit the children who are always hardest hit by economic disaster that has affected this area.

BCL welcomes ladies of all nationalities to come along and enjoy the morning's session.
