Begawan - For the first time since independence Brunei will be
celebrating the National Day in the evening.
The 20th anniversary celebrations on

It is the second time the Hassanal
Bolkiah Stadium has been chosen as the venue 19 years after the first
anniversary celebrations were held there.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and
Sports Pehin Dato Dr Haji Awang Hussein disclosed this at the third
meeting of the 20th National Day Executive Committee yesterday at the

celebration while 6,000 people comprising children, youth, government
agencies and from the private sector will be participating in field
performances.
