RIPAD Girls College welcomes new
intakes

Ninety students including 28 who had
scored 5'A's in the 2003 PSR examinations on Tuesday registered at the
Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Girls Secondary
School. They will attend Secondary One classes at the school this
year.
Meanwhile, ten other students from
the Temburong Arabic Preparatory School also enrolled at the school to
continue their studies in Secondary Four.
They were accompanied by their
parents and guardians and welcomed by the school's teachers and
officials.
On that day, the new students were
briefed by the school's principal, Ustazah Piah Hj Mohd. Sa'at, on
matters pertaining to the school such as the school's rules and
regulations.
The students then toured their
respective classrooms and for those opting to stay at the hostels,
their respective dormitories.
The new intakes will undergo several
orientation programmes and activities during the week including quiz
and sports events.
The school's mission is to ensure
that all the students will receive proper education so that they could
contribute to the religion and the nation, as well as to channel
integrated knowledge and a balanced and quality education among them.
The school is among the oldest education institutions in the Sultanate
dating back to as early as 1965.

Ibrahim bin Hj Mohd Sa'at at the end of the registration ceremony.
