Water disruption in several kampongs in Brunei-Muara

Water supply to several areas in Brunei-Muara District was interrupted temporarily yesterday, the Public Works Department said in a statement.

The disruption was due to major repair works at two locations: On the transmission pipeline at Kg Anggerek Desa, which supplies the Sg Akar, Pulaie and Diplomatic Service Reservoirs; and the inlet main to the Kiarong Reservoir.

The areas affected by the disruption include areas along Jalan Kebangsaan, Kg Sungai Akar, Kg Pulaie, Kg Anggerek Desa, Kg Delima I and II, Kg Sungai Tilong, Kg Sungai Hanching, the Old Airport area, the Berakas Resettlement Area (Kg Burong Pinggai Berakas) and surrounding areas.

Other areas affected are Kg Kiarong, Kg Beribi, Kg Lumapas, Kg Kasat, Kg Putat, Jalan Buang Tengkurok, Kg Setia A and B, Kg Menunggol, Kg Bolkiah A and B, Kg Sg Kebun and surrounding areas.
