Traffic congestion woes return as
schools reopen

It is no surprise to observe numerous
stretches of road throughout the country become heavily congested
especially at the main roads connecting several schools after the
start of the school term. An example of such congestion could be seen
along Jln Mulaut-Kilanas in the afternoon just after the close of the
morning school session.
Elsewhere, this hectic situation had
proven costly after an unnecessary accident took place Tuesday
afternoon at a road near Chung Hwa Secondary School in the Capital.
According to informed sources, the
accident involving three saloon cars occurred when the rearmost car
unexpectedly ran into the stationary car in front of it, which caused
it to hit the third car in a domino effect.
No injury was reported in this
incident, which apparently further aggravated the level of traffic
congestion in the area.
Motorists particularly the parents
who fetch their kids from school are advised to drive carefully and to
compromise wherever possible in the event of heavy traffic congestion.
