Doa selamat for haj pilgrims

20 Haj pilgrims from Kg Panchor Murai, Imang and Kg Batong in Mukim Pengkalan Batu attended the ceremony yesterday

A doa Selamat ceremony for 20 Haj pilgrims from Kg Panchor Murai, Imang and Kg Batong in Mukim Pengkalan Batu was held at the mosque at Kg Panchor Murai.

The function began with Maghrib prayers led by Awg Hj Anuar Hj Mohd Yusof from the Dakwah Centre who also gave a religious talk to the pilgrims.

Donations from the mosque committee and residents of Kg Panchor Murai, Imang and Kg Batong were given by Awg Hj Tahir Hj Tarip, the Penghulu of Mukim Pengkalan Batu to the male pilgrims while the wife of the penghulu, Dyg Hjh Siti Hani Hj Simpon, presented donations to the female pilgrims.

Also present were the village heads of Kg Panchor Murai, Lamit bin Baha and Hj Sharbini BPKDP Hj Moksin, the village head of Kg Batong and the residents.

Imam Awg Hj Anuar read the 'doa selamat' prayers followed by the Isyak prayers led by Awg Hj Sa'dullah Hj Mohd Salleh.
