Spot Checks Carried Out Across Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - Eleven personnel from the CID and Limau Manis Police Station and two enforcement officers from the Religious Affairs Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs set up road block in the vicinity of the Kuala Lurah Immigration Post to check on vehicles as well as pedestrians crossing the border to and from Limbang, last Saturday night.

The Operation -code named "Ops Kedengaran 1" started at 8.3 0 pro and ended one-and-a-half-hours later. No one was caught breaking the law.

Meanwhile another operation, codenamed "Ops Ugan III" was also carried out on the same night where enforcement officers raided houses of foreign workers in the areas of Pangkalan Batu and Kg Masin.
