The Chinese New Year celebration is just weeks away and festive decorations such as lion head masks and red lanterns can be found at stores throughout the country. As the Chinese people consider red to be a colour of prosperity, it is not surprising to see that most of the decorations on sale are red in colour. Photo shows Chinese New Year decorations on sale.
