Back to religious school again
By Helwa

Some of the young students during their first day of religious school
The start of the new academic school
year 2004 also marked the first day for religious schools here in the
Sultanate.
Hundreds of young ones, mostly from
kindergarten, primary one and two levels, began their first day of
religious school last weekend.
These students will attend afternoon
lessons daily (excluding Fridays and Sundays) for the next few years
before sitting for a public religious examination once they are in
primary six level (in the religious school).
Most religious school session starts
from 1.45pm to 3.30pm for most kindergarten classes while upper
primary may continue till 5.30pm.
