Cleaning up rubbish at Lambak Kiri

The Department of Environment, Recreation and Parks (JASTRE) in collaboration with the Technical Services Department and Public Works Department of the Ministry of Development held a cleaning campaign along the Muara-Jerudong highway yesterday.

Among the objectives of the event included maintaining the cleanliness of the area and to contain the spreading of diseases resulting from pollution.

Apart from actively participating in such a good cause activity, the public is also encouraged to adopt the 3Rs - Reuse, Reduce and Recycle domestic solid products, such as paper and aluminium.
