A mixed reaction from the students was clearly seen on the first day at school as schools throughout the Sultanate reopened yesterday after a long break.

Some students obviously felt excited after returning from their longest holidays in the school year as they could once again mingle with their friends in school. However, the others are apparently unprepared as they are still in the holiday mood.

The Bulletin managed to capture the atmospheres on the first schooling day at two schools, the Riverside School in Masin and Al-Falaah School at Ban 5 Branch.

According to the teachers at these two schools, the first day of school was more toward getting familiar with the school environment as proper teaching will only begin next week.
