Firemen rescue gardener in distress

An Indonesian gardener, Awg Syakul Zaini, was in the middle of chopping woods at his employer's durian plantation when a 5-metre tree fell on his leg.

A rescue team from the Jerudong fire brigade, led by Deputy Officer Awg Mohd Sofian Awg Suhail, rushed to the scene, following a call made by his employer.

Awg Syakul sustained a broken left leg and was treated at the RIPAS hospital.
