Innovative Talk For Chung Hwa Teachers

Bandar Seri Begawan - Recently teachers from Chung Hwa Middle School in the capital received a three-hour talk on innovation in teaching and learning by Dr Shahab from the Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Dr Shahab, a lecturer at UBD, has been teaching Critical Creative Thinking for the past eight years and possesses vast academic qualification, which includes a M.A in Education and Ph.D in Philosophy and Social Sciences from Stanford University in California.

Dr Shahab is also a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counsellor and a trained Psychotherapist from California. In addition, he is a certified professional Hypnotherapist, and a professionally trained stress management and bio feedback specialist.

His experience and expertise had vastly help improve the qualities of teaching as well as stress management skill of the teachers at the talk.

The aim of the talk is to prepare the teachers for the new school term which is starting today, hoping they will learn a few new innovations in teaching.

The talks also include two workshops which touch topics on creative problem solving exercise and team work in problem solving.

Also, present to listen to the talk was the Principal of Chung Hwa Middle School, Mdm Kho.
