Imams urge Haj pilgrims to not
waste time, money
By Azlan Jaini
During Jumaat prayers throughout the
region, Imams urged Haj performers this year to be more careful with
their expenditures and not waste money or time.
The advice in sermons served to
awaken future pilgrims and encourage more contributions for the needy.
The pilgrimage to Mecca is to be
expected to be performed by Muslims at less once in a lifetime.
Therefore, it is important not to
misuse such a grand opportunity.
As the Imams stated, it is an
occasion for worshipping Allah, performing Sunnat prayers, reading the
al-Quran, joining Berzikir and other activities that need to be
carried out.
They also highlighted that one must
not be arrogant to others during the Haj, but instead, learn to be
humble.
