Malaysian Nabbed For Expired Passport

Temburong – A Malaysian lady was arrested yesterday in the Temburong District after police found that her passport had expired.

Dayang Belangkat Anak Layuk, 31, was nabbed during a police ambush at a jungle hut in Kampong Kenua after the police received information about a prostitution activity in the area.

During the operation, the police found out that the woman's passport had expired five years ago.

Dayang Belangkat was brought to the Bangar Police Station for further questioning.

Meanwhile, members of the public are asked to cooperate with the authorities by reporting to the police any suspicious activities in their area. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
