Lone Petrol Station Resumes Operation After Petrol Shortage

Temburong – The only filling station in the Temburong District resumed its normal operation yesterday after experiencing a shortage of petrol last week.

Radio Television Brunei (RTB) crew recorded on Friday the situation at the station with a long queue of cars waiting to refill and people buying petrol after the residents in the district faced four days without petrol supplies.

The needs for petrol increased especially during the school holidays during which many Bruneians travelling to the neighbouring states dropped by Temburong to buy petrol.

The surge in demand led to the shortage of petrol at the station which was then unable to cater to the needs of the public. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
