New control post opens at Kg Putat

Passengers enter the control post for inspection at the new control post of Kampong Putat.

Passengers' documents are checked at the immigration unit.

A new control post at Kampong Putat in Mukim Lumapas, Brunei-Muara District was opened yesterday morning.

The new control post building consists of a post control building, a Surau, offices for immigration officers and cabins.

The construction of the building finished end of July last year at a cost of $565,816.

The official opening for the control post is yet to be announced by the officials but the operation has started.

The opening hours for visitors are from 6am to 5pm. However, the control post will function 24 hours daily.
