Locals heading to Labuan for Akademi Fantasia countdown

Bruneians have been heading to Labuan in droves for a performance in the New Year 2004 countdown by stars of Akademi Fantasia, Malaysia's most successful entertainment programme.

The artistes were scheduled to do a free public show at Dataran Labuan and as such, ferry services to the island had been fully booked weeks ago by many local fans.
