With less than 12 hours to 2004, a one-km long queue can be seen at the Kuala Lurah Control Post (pic above). People of Temburong in particular eye a two-day break to ring in the New Year with their families while others want to celebrate the New Year abroad, particularly heading towards the ever increasing popular Kota Kinabalu.
