Brunei Committed To Help Palestinian Cause Launches Charity Stalls

Bandar Seri Begawan - Various parties in supporting the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund are making relentless efforts to help them.

To mark Bruneian support a function yesterday was held to launch charity stalls organised by the Kampong Bunut Mosque.

Officiating at the function was the Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Pehin Dato Dr Awang Haji Hussain.

In his speech, Pehin Hussain said that the move aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the Palestinian people was greatly appreciated.

Various food products are on sale at the charity stalls, which are open until Sunday.

Exhibitions, sports activities as well competition such as in drawing and cooking are also being held.

65 per cent of the proceeds from the sale will be donated from the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund and rest is for the mosque's fund.
