Charity ballet buys toys for KACA children

By James Kon

The Mahbohai Ballet Troupe yesterday night presented about thirty educational toys to the KACA organisation at the Big Papa Restaurant in Kiulap.

Proceeds from the marvellous "Sleeping Beauty" show put on by the troupe last week at Chung Hwa Middle School show were used to purchase the toys.

The troupe's hard work clearly paid-off as the gifts were presented to Ms Janey Gilkey at a dinner gathering hosted by Big Papa's Restaurant.

The restaurant showed their appreciation to the organising committee and the Ballet Troupe for having worked so hard and presenting a spectacular performance, especially to raise funds.

Ms Janey Gilkey thanked the organising committee, performers and Big Papa's for their contributions and expressed with delight how useful and interesting the toys will be for the children at KACA.
