The Fire Victims Fund Committee of
Kg Lurong Sikuna and Kg Ujong Kelinik yesterday morning received
donations from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and
Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The presentation ceremony took
place at the Brunei-Muara District Office and the cheques were
received by Hj Mohd Alimin Hj Mohd Tanjong, Acting Muara
District Officer cum Acting Chairman of the aforementioned
committee.
Dato Paduka Awg Hj Abd Ghani
Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Hj Abd Rahim, Managing
Director of the Yayasan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, presented a
cheque of B$6,398.88 to Hj Mohd Alimin.
Their contribution was raised
by placing donation boxes at various locations in the Yayasan
Complex Building in the capital.
Meanwhile, the Mosque Affairs
Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which was
represented by Pg Hj Md Yunos Pg Hj Md Salleh, also gave a
cheque of B$29,236.49 for the fund.
Their collection came from
donation boxes located in mosques all throughout the Sultanate.
