Man In Trouble For 4-D At Amigos

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 30-year-old Chinese local was fined $400 or two weeks jail in default for gaming at the Amigos restaurant, by the Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Pek Kien Hoe, 30, was found in possession of 2 pieces of paper containing 4-Digit lottery numbers, cash of $7 and a mobile phone (Nokia 3310) at about 3.20 pm on January 8, 2003 at the Amigos restaurant in the RBA Complex by a CID team who raided the restaurant on public tip off.

Pek was taken to the Gadong Police Headquarters for further investigations and admitted to committing the offence.

The items were seized and later taken for evaluations where it was confirmed by the Police Gaming Expert that the items were related to punter's activity.
