Special-needs children race each other in the 'Picking
balls into the bags' game.

Fifteen special-needs children participated in a Sports Day in
Temburong, January 25, 2003.
The event, which was organised
by KACA was held in the morning whereby all the special-needs
children had an enjoyable day full of high spirits, cheers and
great fun.
The Sports Day was held at the
Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam Hospital in Temburong.
The children had a wonderful
time with a wide variety of games such as track running,
tricycle race, egg & spoon race, putting on caps, bowling
and also collecting colourful plastic balls into the plastic
bags.
KACA Playgroup Assistants,
Aishah binte Haji Jumat, Hjh Jauyah, Hjh Eta Norleta and several
volunteers were on hand to help out.
The children were also given
mineral water, courtesy of SEHAT, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The aim of the event was to let
special-needs children be out in the fresh air and also to
broaden their minds and emotions.
